Make time for yourself every day. Whether you like to exercise, meditate, read, paint or cross-stitch, find a little time where you can be alone and relax with your activity.

Sit down, relax and imagine your dream life scenario. Try to avoiding wishing you could fix things like debt, sickness and relationship problems. Instead, focus on finding a scenario that's positive and shows you what makes you happy.

Have the courage to stand up for yourself. You don't need to be pushy or mean, but you'll have a hard time rediscovering your passion and leading a contented life if you can't protect yourself from others.

Set goals and use them to drive you forward through hard times in life. Not only does this keep you level-headed and out of mental trouble, but it also helps you ignore the negative aspects of your life and focus on the positives.
