List 10 things you already know how to do. Consider any particular skills, interests, knowledge or natural aptitude you possess. Place a check mark beside any of these which you also really like doing. While you need to be good at something, you also need to have a passion for it if you're going to call it your niche.

Think of your life as a small business for which you need to do some market research by adding any helpful education or training to your current skills. For example, if you've always had a green thumb and would love to start up a gardening business, you may wish to become a master gardener first to give yourself some extra credibility.

Choose two of the items on your list of 10. Focus your actions around those two items. Stay organized and focused as you work through what you have and what you'll need.
