How to Be Lazy
Instead of getting caught up in the hustle of everyday life, take time out and be lazy. Life is too short to waste it with the daily grind.Instructions

Dress the role. It is hard to be lazy in a suit and tie. Get out of the business attire and find the oldest, holiest, most comfortable sweat pants in your drawers. If you are still at the office and can't change into sweats, keep the tie on, but loosen it a little.

2
Learn the art of staring. Staring into space and day dreaming doesn't have to be solely left to the kids. A blank stare that lasts 20 minutes to 1 hour can be rejuvenating. Strange thoughts come into your head when you aren't busy typing and talking on the phone. Quiet your mind and day dream. You may come up with some good ideas.

Ignore chores and work. There is always a growing list of things you need to do around the house, around the town, or in the office. Don't kill yourself trying to get everything done. Just don't do anything. Being lazy doesn't mean having to give up completely, but every now and then it is just what the doctor ordered.

Stop moving. At home, find the softest sofa or bed-like surface and fall onto it. Fluff pillows behind your head, and take a nap. It takes very little effort to be lazy physically, but turn off your phones and electronic devices so that you can be lazy in the mind as well.

5
Sleep. It is hard to be productive when you are sleeping. If you are in a relationship, enlist your partner to nap with you. This allows you to get out of having to do chores and having to listen to complaints about them not being done.

Set the scene. Whether you are at home, or at the office, set the scene for what looks like something productive. While you stare out your window at the office, cover your desk with papers that you can grab quickly if someone approaches. At home, get a broken toaster and tools and have them available to grab when you want to look busy.
