Which of these stress is bigger yield or tensile?
Yield stress is typically greater than tensile stress.
Yield stress is the maximum stress that a material can withstand without permanent deformation. Tensile stress is the stress that is applied to a material when it is stretched. In most cases, the yield stress of a material is higher than its tensile stress because it takes more force to permanently deform a material than it does to stretch it.
