Exercise is a great way to manage stress and anxiety. But you don't have to join a gym. A daily walk can keep you in shape. Other activities, like yoga or pilates, are also good exercises for managing stress and anxiety.
Relaxation Skills

Relaxation exercises are also helpful in dealing with stress. Meditation can help you focus your mind and your being. When you are feeling stressed, try taking a deep breath and holding it for five seconds. Exhale slowly, letting your breath out for five more seconds. Continue for a few more repetitions, and you will begin to notice tension draining from your body.
