How to Find an Application to Apply for SSI

SSI stands for Supplemental Security Income and is a government-sponsored program that pays money and benefits to adults and children who are disabled. People who are over 65 can also qualify for SSI if they meet the low-income requirements. Considering this is a federal program, the base benefits paid from the government are the same in every state, but each state has the ability to add supplementary benefits. There are two ways to find an application to apply for SSI, online or in person at the local Social Services office.
