How To Report Elder Abuse in Ohio
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) handles cases of elder abuse in the state. The Child and Family Services (CFS) office in each county has an Adult Protective Services section that investigates all accusations of abuse, including physical, sexual and emotional abuse, as well as neglect and exploitation. The Ohio Coalition for Adult Protective Services (OCAPS) is a nonprofit organization that works with the state by providing resources to eliminate elder abuse. If you know about a case or cases of elder abuse, it's important that you report it immediately.Instructions
