Connect to the FBI's Crimes Again Children National Sex Offender Public Website. This is a searchable website with interactive links to all 50 states. Currently there is no federally operated comprehensive database.

Select a state, click on it and follow the instructions. All sites are maintained individually by each state, not the FBI. Instructions for using the database vary from state to state.

Chose the function most applicable to you. For example, in the Oregon database click on "Map Offenders" and agree to the site's terms of usage.

Enter your home address. This will bring up a map with flags and an interactive list of predators.

Click on offenders' names. This link will provide current photo, address, criminal history and information detailing the nature of past crimes.
