ANSI & Safety Standards

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is an independent organization that is involved nationally and internationally in the process of standard development. ANSI does not generate standards. It provides an unbiased arena to assure the integrity and consistency of standards generated by industry, government, non-government and consumers groups. Addressing safety and environmental concerns during the standardization process is a primary ANSI activity.
