Instructions

    • 1

Dust your face in talcum or baby powder. The cleanest and easiest way to apply these powders is to fill an old, clean sock with powder, knot the sock and gently pat the sock against your face. Flour will also work and can be used with the same sock method.

    • 2

To make fake blood that can be dribbled around the face, mix two parts corn syrup with one part chocolate syrup and a few drops of red food coloring. Mix together carefully and store in a tightly sealed jar. Be careful, as this fake blood will stain clothing. It will not, however, stain skin and should wash off easily with soap and water.

    • 3

Use a mixture of charcoal or eyeliner and lipstick to create a dark red color perfect for scary eyes and lips. Be careful not to get lipstick or charcoal directly in the eyes, as it may sting. This can be washed off with eye-makeup remover or baby wipes.

    • 4

Use eyeliner to create fake stitches, scratches and scars if desired.

    • 5

Carefully run the powder sock over your face one last time to set the makeup. The makeup will last at least four hours. Add more fake blood as needed.
