CPR Works provides certification training in a wide array of courses, including first aid and automated external defibrillators (AED). The school is affiliated with the American Heart Association, and offers certification courses to healthcare professionals. The certification lasts for two years; health professionals are required to update their certification in order to maintain their license. The courses are all classroom-based and include training in CPR for adults, children and infants. In addition to CPR training, course participants will also receive instruction in the use of AEDs. Training for recertification courses in CPR is two hours; class size is restricted to a minimum of eight participants.
