Pediatric Emergency Training
Working with children can be a demanding task, but it is particularly trying in cases of medical emergencies. Quick, smart thinking and appropriate action are critical when children are injured or need emergency care. Any caregiver in pediatrics should be well prepared for these circumstances.-

Books and Other Resources
-
It is always good to have an indexed guide close by, such as Boston Children Hospital's "The New Child Health Encyclopedia: The Complete Guide for Parents." A tool such as this can be invaluable when faced with a situation beyond the scope of a caregiver's expertise. The internet and local library are great places to find additional information.
