Online Firearms Training

You may want to learn about firearms for a number of reasons, but you don't have the time or desire to attend a class in person. Can you get worthwhile firearms training online? If you want to learn about the different types of firearms available, how to handle a gun safely, and laws for concealed carry, online courses may be beneficial to you, many of which can be found at the Safe Or Sorry website (see the link in Resources).

  1. Basics

    • A basic online firearms course will teach you about the types of firearms, safety rules and strategies, firearms laws, ammunition and how to choose a gun that's right for you.

    Firearms Use

    • You will not be able to practice shooting a firearm through an online course, but you can learn about the various recommended shooting stances and positions.

    Concealed Carry

    • The purpose of this online course is to provide instruction that will enable the participant to obtain a concealed carry weapons permit in his state.

    Reloading

    • You can learn how to reload cartridges and bullets through an online course.

    Child Safety

    • This course can teach children how to stay safe around firearms, and parents can also take it in order to learn how to teach their children about firearms safety themselves.

    Instructor Training

    • If you've always wanted to become a firearms instructor, you can find this type of course available also.
