1
Go with the flow. Unless you can dodge the car that’s about to hit you, accept that you are going to get hit and relax your body so you don’t jar anything.
-
2
Curl into a ball. As you go rolling across the hood or flying through the air, try to curl into a ball to protect your head and major organs.
-
3
Pay attention to where you’re landing. Staying curled in that ball, watch where you are being hurled. If possible, deflect yourself from landing in crushed grass, a burning garbage heap or off the side of a cliff.
-
4
Lay still for a few moments after you’ve been hit. Slowly wiggle every part of your body to make sure you still can.
-
5
Slowly stand up and walk away, but not before getting the driver's information so you can sue them if necessary.
