How to Dispose of Energizer Batteries

Every year, millions of batteries are used by millions of people. When batteries lose their power and stop working, they are often disposed of in the trash. However, depending on the chemicals used in creation of the battery, this is not always the proper method of disposal. The batteries end up in landfills and adversely affect the environment causing harm to humans and animals because of the chemicals with which they are made. Energizer batteries are no exception and must be recycled. You can protect the environment by properly disposing of your batteries.
