How to Recycle Minolta Toner

Konica Minolta Business Solutions toner and toner cartridges, like any brand of toner, can have a negative environmental and human health impact if burned or thrown away. As a result, Konica Minolta has created the Konica Minolta Clean Planet recycling program. The program allows bizhub, magicolor and pagepro toner cartridge owners to dispose of waste toner and toner cartridges for free by mailing the waste to a Konica Minolta recycling center.

Instructions

    • 1

Place your used toner box or cartridge inside a new toner box or cartridge carton after replacement, or pack the item or items into a plain cardboard box. If necessary, fill any empty areas within the carton or box with shipping paper or bubble wrap. Close the lid on the carton or box and seal with clear box tape.

    • 2

Acquire a free return shipping label from Konica Minolta. If shipping bizhub toner boxes or cartridges, email [email protected] with the name and model of your bizhub product and a label request. If you're shipping magicolor and pagepro toner boxes or cartridges, fill out the Toner Label Request Form online (see Resources) and click the “Submit” button.

    • 3

Print out the label if Konica Minolta emailed the label or provided a link to an online copy. Otherwise, wait for the label to arrive in your mailbox.

    • 4

Affix the label to the outside of your box and run a clear piece of tape over the label to protect it during shipment. Drop the box off at your local post office.
