How to Protect Yourself from Cell Towers

1
Check to see if towers or antennas are located close to your home before moving to a new location. You can do this by inquiring at City Hall or doing a tower and antenna search on antennasearch.com.

2
“Look out your bedroom window,” says Roy Riggs, Geobiologist and EMF expert. “If there is a clear and unobstructed view of a cell phone tower facing your way within a distance of about 300 meters, you are advised to look into shielding solutions. ... If you look out your window but can’t see the masts because they are obstructed by other buildings then the power density will be mainly absorbed by those buildings and too low to worry about.”
-
3
Use radiation-blocking paint or wall-covering if your home is located near an antenna or tower. Microwave absorbing clothing, hats and other shielding devices are also available.
-
4
Plant trees in your yard located between your house and the cell tower. Trees help absorb RF radiation.
-
5
Suggest to your mayor or local planning commission that a cell tower and antenna ordinance be passed in your town that allows for consideration of health effects when citing cell towers. Although the Telecommunications Act forbids towns from banning cell towers entirely, an ordinance gives a town leverage in citing antennas and towers.

6
Practice good health habits, such as eating a healthy diet, avoiding stress, and getting plenty of sleep. This helps protect from radio frequency as well as other toxins in your environment.
