In first aid what does the term A-B-C mean?

Airway: Make sure the person's airway is clear and unobstructed. This means that the person is able to breathe without difficulty.

Breathing: Check the person's breathing. Make sure the person is breathing at a normal rate and depth.

Circulation: Check the person's circulation. Make sure the person has a pulse and that their skin is warm and dry.
