What does a baby first aid kit contain?
A basic baby first aid kit should contain the following items:
- Adhesive bandages with various designs to attract children and be more appealing.
- Band-Aids of different sizes
- Antiseptic wipes or spray
- Gauze pads
- Adhesive tape
- Scissors
- Thermometer
- Tweezers
- Small Flashlight
- Calming Gel Packs
- Pain relievers/ Fever reducers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil) for kids.
- Syrup of Ipecac, which can be used to induce vomiting in case of poisoning
- CPR mask
- Splints
- First aid instructions or a CPR certification card
- Antibiotic ointment
- Cotton swabs
- Oral syringe for administering liquid medicine
- Ziplock bags to store any dirty or soiled items
- Emergency contact list
