How to Speed Up the Healing Process for Black Eyes
Receiving a black eye is never pleasant and can be quite embarrassing. This is especially true if you are in public most of his day, which may cause some people to speculate how you received your black eye (the popular conclusion is usually that you lost a fight). Whatever the reason for your black eye, you will be glad to know that it is possible to speed up the healing process.Things You'll Need
- Ice pack
- Towel
- 3 papayas

1
Wrap a towel around an ice pack as quickly as possible, once you have received a black eye.
-
2
Place the towel wrapped in the ice pack on your black eye and gently press down. Avoid any sharp edges around the area of the black eye. This includes small, jagged pieces of ice that may slightly poke at the hurt area.

Remove the towel wrapped in the ice pack from your eye after 10 minutes. Keep the ice pack off your eye for 15 minutes (you will want to place the ice pack in the freezer so it does not melt as quickly). Once 15 minutes has passed, take the ice pack out of your freezer, wrap it around the towel and place it on your eye for another 15 minutes. Repeat this process for two hours to greatly speed up the healing process.

Eat a lot of papayas and pineapples during recovery (eating the fruits about 3 to 4 times per day should help). Start by purchasing three of each fruit. Eating the fruit on a consistent basis will help your body reabsorb the blood that has built up around your eye much quicker.
