Three ways that food borne illnesses are spread?

1. Eating contaminated food: Food can become contaminated with bacteria, viruses, or parasites at any point in the production, storage, or preparation process. This can happen through contact with contaminated surfaces, equipment, or hands, or through exposure to raw meat, poultry, seafood, or eggs.

2. Drinking contaminated water: Water can become contaminated with bacteria, viruses, or parasites through contact with sewage, animal waste, or other sources. Drinking contaminated water can lead to a variety of illnesses, including gastrointestinal infections, dysentery, and cholera.

3. Contact with infected animals or people: Some foodborne illnesses can be spread through contact with infected animals or people. This can happen through direct contact, such as petting an infected animal, or through indirect contact, such as handling food that has been contaminated with the saliva or feces of an infected person or animal.
