How to Make Ionized Water Machines
Things You'll Need
- Two 1 gallon plastic storage containers
- Electric wire
- One 2-inch PVC pipe
- 12V or 24V power adapter
- Section of chamois (slightly larger than PVC pipe)
- Two crocodile clips
- Two 0.5 inch by 0.75 inch titanium electrodes
Instructions
-
Building a Water Ionizer
-
1
Place the two 1-gallon plastic containers next to each other and cut a 2-inch hole in both. Place the containers with the cut holes facing.
-
2
Insert the section of chamois into the PVC pipe so it fits the entire width of the pipe. Run the pipe into the two holes you cut in the plastic containers.
-
3
Attach the two titanium electrodes to electric wire.
-
4
Connect one end of the crocodile clips to the 12V or 24V power adapter and the other end to the electrical wire attached to the titanium electrodes.
-
5
Place a titanium electrode connected to a crocodile clips in each of the 1-gallon containers.
-
6
Fill the plastic containers with water and switch on the power adapter. This starts the ionization process.
-
7
Wait about 2 hours until the water separates into the two different containers. One of the plastic containers will have water that is brown and murky while the other will have clean, clear water that has been ionized and can be consumed.
