N02 Side Effects
NO2, also referred to as Nitric Oxide, is a drug that is used as a vasodialator. As such, the use of this product can lead to a variety of mild to severe side effects depending on use, dosage and the particular individual.-

NO2, or Nitric Oxide, is a drug that can be found in the form of an inhalation gas and as a pill supplement. It has been marketed toward bodybuilders as it claims to increase blood flow and create large gains in muscle mass. According to Drugs.com, in a medical setting, NO2 is used to treat "...respiratory failure in premature babies." NO2 works by relaxing the muscles in order to allow for the dilation of blood vessels. In doing so, it allows for easier blood circulation to the lungs.
Rare Side Effects

Drugs.com reports that in a placebo controlled study, 13 percent of participants experienced hypertension, 12 percent withdrawal, 7 percent sepsis, 6 percent infection and 5 percent cellulitis. In addition, 9 percent experienced atelectasis, 5 percent stridor, 8 percent hematuria and 8 percent hyperglycemia. If you experience any of the above side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
Common Side Effects

In a controlled study reported by Drugs.com, 35 percent of infants receiving NO2 treatment experienced methemoglobinemia, a 7 percent increase in the levels of methemoglobin. Levels of methemoglobin, however did return to a normal state within a few hours after the NO2 treatment was stopped. Discuss the hazards of using NO2 for your child with your doctor.

NO2 may interact with the following medications: prilocaine, sodium nitroprusside and nitroglycerin.
