      Obtain the concealed weapon permit application form from the sheriff of your county or a state division office.

      Take a weapon safety, familiarity and usage course from the National Rifle Association or a Wyoming law enforcement academy certified center. Ask the instructor to get the certification notarized.

      Get a full set of finger prints from a local law enforcement agency to attach to the application. The prints are used in the criminal background check.
