How to Use the ViraMask N99

Places where a large number of people gather, such as a school, supermarket, airport or train station, can be breeding grounds for bacteria and viruses that can make you very ill. It can be next to impossible to avoid these areas, however. The ViraMask N99 is an advanced type of protective mask that keeps airborne diseases from being inhaled. In order for the mask to do its job, you must place it on your face properly.

  Remove the ViraMask N99 from its packing. On each side of the mask are two adhesive strips that you will use to attach the mask to your face. Carefully peel back the plastic covering each adhesive strip and throw them away. The mask is now ready to be placed onto your face.

  Grasp each side of the mask and turn it so the outside is facing away from your face. Position the mask in front of your face so the top portion is in front of the bridge of your nose and the bottom portion is just under your chin and covers your entire mouth.

  Place the mask onto your face. Press down firmly on the two sides of the mask where the adhesive strips are on your cheeks to get them to stick to your face. Let go of the mask and it should stay on your face. Gently pull on the mask to ensure it is secure.

  Pull firmly on the front of the mask when you are no longer in an area where you need the protection that the mask provides. Pull in the center of the mask until the strips begin to separate from your skin. Once each strip is loose, you can remove the mask and throw it away. Each mask is disposable.
