How to Tell If Someone Puts Cyanide in Your Drink
Cyanide is a compound typically found in nature; it's generally harmless when taken in very minute quantities or doses. However, in larger quantities, cyanide is a potent poison capable of causing grave injury or even death. If you think that someone has tampered with your drink and you suspect that cyanide may be involved, you can test your drink to find out.Instructions

1
Purchase cyanide reagent test strips. These test strips can be found through an online supplier or your local drug store.
-
2
Remove a test strip from the packaging. Dip the "reaction zone" or the padded end of the strip into your drink. Remove the strip from the drink after it's been immersed for about 30 seconds; shake off any excess liquid. Wait an additional 10 seconds.

Compare your results to the color scale, typically located on the side of the bottle containing the test strips. The color scale will inform you whether or not there's cyanide present in your drink and, if so, in what concentration.
