Radiation Cures

After radioactive disasters or radioactive leaks, you'll need to take precautions to protect yourself and your family from radiation poisoning. There are numerous supplements and food products that have radiation-combating properties. Some of them can be used daily after an accident, while others should only be used in emergency situations.
  1. Potassium Iodide (KI)

    • Potassium Iodide is the ingredient added to salt to make it iodized. Potassium Iodide contains 76.5 percent iodine. The thyroid gland uses any iodine in the bloodstream to function, and it cannot tell the difference between irradiated iodine and regular iodine. Because of this, it will readily absorb any radioactive iodine in the blood and can result in the development of thyroid cancer down the road. That is the reason to "stuff" the thyroid with regular iodine, such as that supplied by potassium iodide, during certain radiation emergencies.

    Radiation Detox Bath

    • The first thing recommended for detoxing from exposure to radiation is a hot Epsom salt and regular-iodized salt bath. The salt bath is created by dissolving 1 pound of sea salt, rock salt or Epsom salt and 1 pound of baking soda into a hot bath. Soak in the water until it cools, and leave the salt on your skin for four to eight hours afterward.

    Spirulina, Chlorella, and Seaweed

    • These plant products help the body rid itself of radioactive elements. Seaweed contains sodium alginate, which binds with radioactive compounds so they can be eliminated from the body. Chlorella is a wonder algae loaded with chlorophyll, which helps build your immune system, detoxifies heavy metals, normalizes blood pressure and sugar, fights cancer and balances body pH levels, and helps detoxify the bloodstream, bowels and liver. Spirulina has been shown to enhance the T-cell counts in the bloodstream, enhance the immune system and reduce radioactivity.

    Bathable and Edible Clays

    • Clays are well-known for their ability to remove and extract toxins. This is because of their unique pore structure of holes and channels, which allows them to absorb large amounts of contaminants. Toxins are naturally drawn into clays by their natural negative charge, which is created by the crystal micro pores of the clay. Certain clays are edible, such as the Zeolite product called Natural Cellular Defense. Clays for baths, such as Zeo-rad Detox Bath, can be used in a detox bath.
