How to Develop Nose Breathing
Instructions

-
1
Exercise on a regular basis to help improve your lung capacity, preferably outdoors. Vigorous activity helps improve your nervous system within your nose, thus improving nasal airflow.
-
2
Identify any allergies you might have and make sure those irritants aren't present in your living or work spaces. Visit an allergist to determine any allergies you may have. Allergic reactions can cause swelling and restrict breathing through your nose.
-
3
Avoid food, drink or alcohol consumption in the hours leading up to your bedtime. Stomach contents at the time of sleep can seep up to your nose and cause inflammation, affecting you ability to breathe through the nose.
-
4
Make a conscious effort to breathe through your nose. Taking a moment to relax and breathe deeply can help rid your muscles of tension and promote a calmer, steadier airflow to enter and exit through your nose.
