Selling marijuana in Nebraska is a felony. It can result in one to 20 years in jail and include a $20,000 to $50,000 fine. If sold to a minor or near a school, the consequences may be more severe, such as up to 50 years in jail.

Possessing any marijuana paraphernalia can result in a fine. This means any pipes or other paraphernalia found in a house or car. This fine can be anywhere from $100 to $500. A minor who is found with paraphernalia may have to complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and get recommended treatment.
Growing

Any marijuana found on personal land has similar consequences to the sale of marijuana. This is considered a felony and the guilty party will be fined up to $50,000. The consequence of growing marijuana in Nebraska is jail time from one to 50 years.
