Roll Down Hurricane Shutter Instructions

Roll down hurricane shutters offer the greatest convenience and ease of use of the various types of hurricane shutters. They can be opened and closed by a single person using a tape mechanism, a crank gear or a motorized system, depending on the method of installation. They also operate from inside or outside the home, depending on the closure mechanism type. Push button operated roll-down shutters require a battery backup system so the shutters can be lowered and raised during power outages. Tape systems operate from inside while crank or motorized systems can be installed for inside or outside use.
