Safety goggles should be worn while pouring or handling Bora Care. If Bora Care does make contact with your eyes, irritation will occur. Your eyes will become painful and red, you will experience a burning sensation and your eyes will tear up. Rinse out your eyes for a period of 15 minutes or longer. A medical professional should be notified of the accident to verify that no lasting damage was done.
Ingestion

Bora Care has a slight toxicity to it. Ingestion of a small amount of the gel is not known to cause harm, however ingestion of a lot of the chemical can cause severe side effects. These side effects include nausea, disorientation, difficulty breathing, heart failure, brain and kidney damage and potentially death. If the gel is ingested and the victim is alert, force him to vomit and call for immediate medical assistance. If he is not alert or conscious, place him on his left side with his head down and call for immediate medical assistance. Do not leave him alone.
Inhalation

Breathing in a large amount of the vapors from Bora Care can cause nausea, dizziness and irritation. If these side effects to the chemical occur, it is important to remove the victim from the area and find fresh air.
