Go to a plasma donation center in your area of Washington. Donation centers are located throughout the state. You can choose from Biolife Donation Centers, Biomat Donation Centers, CSL Plasma Centers and regional centers, such as Cascade Regional Blood Services and Puget Sound Blood Center.

Present your social security card and Washington driver's license to the desk clerk when you arrive. If you have other photo ID instead, you also need to have proof of residency in the state, such as a utility bill.

Submit to a physical and blood tests for things such as HIV, if you are donating plasma for the first time. The physical and blood tests typically take around two hours.

Give your actual plasma donation after your physical and blood tests. The plasma donation takes around 1 1/2 hours. You can read or listen to music while you are donating your plasma.
