Werner Steel Pump Jack Components

The Werner Steel Pump Jack is used for siding jobs. It is a type of platform that can move up and down in vertical planes. It is durable, safe and easy to assemble. The main components of a Werner Steel Pump Jack system are a foldable support brace, nestable stage, safety net, work bench, pump jack, end rail kit, poles, support brace, pole connector, crank handle, foot lever, boot strap, upper shackle, lower shackle, and pole foot. The steel is coated with powder so as to ensure that it is suitable for all sorts of weather.

  1. Work Bench

    • The work bench provides the work surface at the required user height. It is also capable of accommodating 20-inch-wide platforms. The work bench is pre-drilled and therefore can be attached within seconds. The component also offers 250 pounds of load capacity. The maximum height offered is 30 feet. It also consists of a safety brake and rugged hand crank.

    Foldable Support Brace

    • The foldable support brace helps attach the Werner Steel Jack system to the pole. It helps the pole to be attached to a wall or roof. It also provides a triangular bracing. Thus, it can be attached and adjusted to any angle. The installation of the pump jack system by the help of foldable support brace requires only a few easy steps. First, the pole has to be installed to the work wall. Then, the steel pump jack is installed to the pole. Once the pole latch is closed, the crank handle (i.e. crank handle makes it easy to rotate the pump jack while lowering it) has to be inserted. Next, the work bench has to be installed to the pump jack and then the work platform.

    Pump-Jack

    • The steel pump jack is powder coated, which makes it more durable. It consists of a ribbed side plate, a large boot strap, a foot lever and a crank handle safety latch. The side plate is strong and twist-resistant. The boot strap is easy to use. The foot lever is slip resistant. The pump jack can accommodate up to 24-inch wide platforms.

    Pole Anchor

    • If a firm base for the pole is not available, the pole anchor acts as a mudsill. The pole anchor provides firm support on soft ground. They can hold a 3 inch x 3.5 inch wood or aluminum pole. The pole anchor is also powder coated, which makes it more durable.
