The Importance of Spaying & Neutering

It's often a joy when your family pet gives birth to a new litter of kittens or puppies. However, the joy can be short-lived when repeated births occur or you're unable to find homes for the animals.     • Spayed animals have lower risks of illnesses, like cancer, according to PBS. In addition to improved health, neutered animals are less aggressive and tend to roam less.

    • According to AHS, it isn't true that only female animals should be fixed. Males can father thousands of offspring too.
