  Call an exterminator or bat removal service to remove all the bats living in your home. If you do not remove the bats first, they will continue to drop feces, no matter how much mold abatement takes place.

  Call a clean-up service. While you can simply go into your attic area and remove the offensive bat feces, the mold is potentially harmful if inhaled for too long while you work because of the lung and kidney problems that can result.

  Control the mold after the professional cleaning service has left. Clean any moldy areas with hot water. Vinegar is also a great cleaning tool. Do not use bleach, because the combination of bleach and vinegar can be too strong and cause breathing issues.

  Use mild soaps and mild cleaners after you have cleaned the mold. Once the cleanup of the moldy feces has dried completely, mild soap and cleaners will keep additional mold from forming. Use your air conditioner for quick drying of the area.
