Causes

• The main problem in determining the presence of scabies is that the mite that causes the condition is too tiny to be seen by the naked eye. Scabies is passed from direct body to body contact. Scabies Treatment

• The main treatment for genital scabies is an over-the-counter cream containing permethrin or a lotion that contains malathion. The ingredients in these creams will generally kill the mites. Treatment of the Itch
