How to Replace a Toilet Paper Dispenser
If you work in a retail store or other building that has public restrooms, the stalls will of course have those large plastic toilet paper dispensers. You may one day find that one of the toilet paper dispensers is broken and has to be replaced with a new unit. You could wait for someone from maintenance to do this, but the process is quite simple if you have a replacement unit in storage.Instructions

1
Bring the box containing the replacement unit to the stall. Open the box and make sure you have all the parts. If you have the most commonly used type, you should have the back-facing part that attaches to the wall, the front clear part that rotates on a plastic hinge, and at least four screws.

Remove the broken unit. First open the unit and rotate the front clear part down. Then lift or pop it out of the two plastic hinges it is sitting in. Remove any toilet paper rolls. Now use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the back-facing part to the wall. Discard the parts of the old unit.

Place the new back-facing part against the wall, positioning the screw holes over the ones in the wall. Use the screwdriver to screw the four screws in place. Replace the toilet paper. Now pop the new front clear part into the hinges, rotate in up and snap it shut.
