What are the high risk behaviors?

High-risk behaviors are activities that increase the likelihood of negative outcomes, such as injury, illness, or death. These behaviors can range from relatively minor acts, such as jaywalking, to more serious actions, such as substance abuse or unsafe sex. While not all high-risk behaviors will necessarily lead to adverse consequences, engaging in them does increase the probability of such.

Examples of high-risk behaviors include, but are not limited to:

- Substance Abuse

- Driving Under the Influence

- Unsafe Sex

- Reckless Driving

- Physical or Verbal Aggression (Fighting)

- Unsafe Sports or Extreme Sports Activity

- Unprotected Sex or Multiple Sexual Partners
