Purchase a bulk package of lollipops or several individual lollipops of your favorite flavors. Lollipops, or suckers, are available in many different shapes, sizes and flavors.

Begin your smoking cessation technique by slowly implementing lollipops into your daily smoking routine. One of the best places to start is after meals. Instead of smoking after a meal, have a lollipop.

Continue sucking on a lollipop after meals for one to two weeks to allow your body to adjust to the slight difference in nicotine levels and develop a new habit.

Replace the cigarettes that you smoke at various points throughout the day with lollipops. (This does not include the cigarettes that you may have in the morning with your coffee or before you go to bed at night, but all others.) Whenever you crave a cigarette, have a lollipop instead. Continue implementing lollipops in this way for two to three weeks.

Substitute a lollipop for the cigarette you have in the morning after waking and at night before sleeping. Complete this step after your body has adjusted to having only these two cigarettes, as they are the hardest for most people to give up.

Continue weaning your body off of nicotine by having a lollipop every time you crave a cigarette.
