Can bike riding cause urinary tract infection?

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that bike riding can cause urinary tract infections (UTIs). Although spending a long time in the saddle may apply some pressure on the urethra, this is not enough to force bacteria into the urinary tract. UTIs are typically caused by bacteria entering the urethra and making their way into the bladder, and there is no evidence to suggest that bike riding increases this risk.
