How to Test Helideck Foam

A helideck is a helicopter landing pad. Helidecks are equipped with a fire sprinkler system that utilizes foam to extinguish fires. When triggered during testing or an actual emergency, water runs through the system, where it mixes with a foam solution. The foam is then sprayed out across the helideck. Test a helideck foam fire extinguishing system annually to ensure that it is in proper working order.
