By law do you get time to wash your hands at the end of working day or have clock out first?
According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), employers are required to provide employees with adequate time to wash their hands at the end of the workday. Specifically, OSHA states that employers must provide "suitable facilities for washing the skin of employees exposed to harmful substances...before the termination of daily work." This means that employees should be given the opportunity to wash their hands before they leave the workplace, regardless of whether they clock out first or not.
