10 Panel Drug Test Results

Drugs tests are used for many different situations. Employers use drug tests as a way of screening potential workers, parents use them to monitor their children's activities and even schools use them as a way of determining a student's eligibility for sports. Ten panel drug tests, which provide accurate readings for 10 different types of drugs, are commonly used.

  1. Marijuana

    • Individuals will test positive for marijuana usage when concentration levels of the drug reach 50 nanograms per one milliliter of fluid. Marijuana is typically indicated on a 10 panel drug test by the letters "THC."

    Cocaine

    • Cocaine usage will appear on an individual's drug test when concentration levels reach 300 ng per milliliter of fluid. The letters "COC" are typically indicative of cocaine on a 10 panel drug test.

    Phencyclidine

    • Also known as PCP, phencyclidine will create a positive result when levels of the drug reach 25 ng per milliliter of fluid. Phencyclidine is designated on a 10 panel drug test by the letters "PCP."

    Opiates

    • The use of opiates will create a positive result on an individual's drug test when levels of the drug reach 2,000 ng per milliliter of fluid. Opiates, which include opium, heroin and morphine, are typically designed by the letters "MOR" on a 10 panel drug test.

    Methamphetamine

    • Individuals will test positive for methamphetamine usage when levels of the drug reach 1,000 ng per milliliter of fluid. Methamphetamine is commonly listed on a 10 panel drug test as "MET."

    Methadone

    • Methadone will create a positive drug test result when levels of the drug reach 300 ng per milliliter of fluid. The letters "MTD" are typically indicative of methadone on a 10 panel drug test.

    Amphetamine

    • The presence of amphetamine in an individual's urine will be detected when levels of the drug reach 1,000 ng per milliliter of fluid. Amphetamine is referred to by the letters "AMP" on most 10 panel drug tests.

    Barbiturates

    • Individuals will see a positive drug test result for barbiturates when levels of the drug reach 300 ng per milliliter of fluid. Barbiturates are commonly designated by the letters "BAR" on most 10 panel drug tests.

    Benzodiazepine

    • Benzodiazepine will create a positive drug test result when levels of the drug reach 300 ng per milliliter of fluid. The letters "BZO" are commonly used on 10 panel drug tests to represent benzodiazepine.

    Tricyclic antidepressants

    • A positive drug test result for tricyclic antidepressants is displayed when levels of the drug reach 30 ng per milliliter of fluid. Tricyclic antidepressants are commonly abbreviated with the letters "TCA" on most 10 panel drug tests.
