Instructions for the Titan Safety Harness
Titan safety harnesses are manufactured with durable, lightweight webbing that is comfortable and allows for greater range of motion while wearing them. They are fully adjustable to fit a range of body shapes and sizes and feature a back strap that prevents rolling out during a fall. Titan safety harnesses must be worn properly in order to prevent injury or death in the event of a fall.Instructions

1
Inspect all buckles for secure connections before using the harness.
-
2
Grasp the D-ring on the back of the harness and shake to allow the straps to fall into place.
-
3
Release the buckles on the chest, waist and leg straps if they are buckled.
-
4
Turn the harness so the front D-ring is facing you and hold the shoulder straps with both hands below the front D-ring.
-
5
Place your head through the center of the harness between the front and back D-rings.
-
6
Turn the harness so that the front D-ring is positioned in the front.
-
7
Slide the straps over your shoulders so that the back D-ring sits in the middle of your back between your shoulder blades.
-
8
Buckle the chest strap and position it in the middle area of your chest -- 6 to 8 inches below your trachea but above your sternum. Insert the buckle that has the center bar under the square link and turn the center bar so that the edges align with the slots in the square link.
-
9
Pull the center bar all the way through the square link and allow it to fall on top of the square link. On your chest strap only, you'll have to also slide the rigid keeper up to buckle it in order to reduce the web sliding into the buckle.
-
10
Pull the loose end of the straps to tighten the shoulder straps so they are taut and don't bunch or sag anywhere.
-
11
Pull the left leg strap between your legs and buckle. Do the same for the right leg strap.
-
12
Buckle the waist strap if your harness has one. It should be tight but not uncomfortable.
-
13
Tighten the webbing so that your harness fits snugly but allows you full range of movement. The loose end of webbing is used to adjust your harness and should always be positioned outside the harness.
-
14
Slide the extra strap through the elastic loops.
