Falck Nutec reports that in 1906 Sophus Falck of Denmark launched a rescue and safety company, introducing the Falck name in 1930. In 2004 Falck acquired the safety group Nutec to form the Falck Nutec safety-training group, which operates in countries including Denmark, Norway, U.K., U.S. and Malaysia.
