Full Body Harness Instructions
A full body harness can keep all body parts safe when you are working at dangerous heights by keeping you from falling. There are number of industries where people work at dangerous heights and need a full body harness. These people include construction rescue people and window washers. You will also need a harness when doing any climbing activities. There are several different styles made for both men and women, and they must be worn properly in order to prevent injuries. Look at the instructions included with the harness, and locate all of the parts on the harness.

Hold the harness up by the D-ring so the straps hang down straight.

Put the harness over your head from the left side. Position the shoulder straps, and make sure the D-ring is positioned on your back between your shoulder blades.

Reach between your legs, and grasp the thigh strap on your left side; bring it forward and insert it into the front left strap. Do the same on the right. Encircle your thighs with the thigh straps without twisting the harness or it could result in injury.

Remove the harness by unbuckling the thigh straps. Then place your arms beneath the shoulder straps and lift it over your head.
