Types of Folding Security Gates

Security gates are important for the safety of people and merchandise in any establishment. They are ideal for warehouses, offices, stores and homes. There are several types of security gates to choose from.

Single Folding Gate

• A single folding gate permanently attaches to the sides of an entryway and has a drop pin in the middle for extra stability. It can be pivoted on vertical gate rails when an opening is necessary.

Pair Folding Gates

• Pair folding gates are similar to a single folding gate except it is for wider entrances. It has a center drop pin for added stability and pivots when access is needed.

Door Folding Gate

• A door folding gate is like a single folding gate for smaller entryways except it doesn't have a drop pin in the middle. It pivots on vertical gate rails when entry access is needed.

Portable Gates

• Portable gates are ideal for intermittent situations. They have hasp locking bars on the sides to keep it secure. When not in use, they fold up and roll away for storage.

Aisle Gates

• Aisle gates are light and easily movable. They link together on the sides to create larger barriers.

Barrier Gates

• Barrier gates are shorter than folding gates and redirect foot traffic when security isn't really an issue. It folds up and rolls away for easy storage.
