Where might you use a steri strip?
A steri strip is a narrow adhesive tape used to close superficial cuts and wounds, which can be applied in place of stitches or staples. It may be used instead of, or in addition to, sutures, staples, or skin glue (liquid adhesive). Steri strips are made of a flexible, non-woven material and are available in various sizes. They are typically used on the face and other areas where you want to minimize scarring. Steri strips are usually removed after 5 to 7 days, once the wound has had a chance to heal.
