* Prostatectomy: Removal of the prostate gland, a small, walnut-shaped gland in men that produces seminal fluid. Prostatectomy is typically performed for prostate cancer or enlargement (benign prostatic hyperplasia).

* Tonsillectomy: Removal of the tonsils, two small glands in the back of the throat. Tonsillectomy is typically performed for tonsillitis, sleep apnea, or other conditions.
