How to Remove a Mole Near the Nose
Removal of a skin mole is generally not a do-it-yourself procedure, and most over-the-counter formulations are disappointingly ineffective. (See the Resources section below for a possible exception). Instead, dermatologists have tried and true methods for removing them. Note that a mole near or on the nose is a particularly good type of mole to have removed, because this is the part of the body that gets the most sun exposure. Therefore, it is more likely than other moles on your body to become cancerous.Instructions

1
See your dermatologist to have the facial mole removed.

2
Tell the doctor if the mole has changed color or size recently. If so, the doctor may need to cut out a layer of healthy skin surrounding the mole as well, as a safety margin so pre-cancerous cells aren't left behind.

Look for a doctor experienced with laser removal, especially since the mole is on your face, where you want minimal scarring to appear. Lasers leave behind less prominent scars than knives. The tradeoff is that laser treatment is much more expensive. The scar also depends on the skill of the doctor.
